I'm considering changing my ISP from BTOpenworld to Bulldog Inter@active (http://www.bulldogbroadband.com/residential/XPNP/NP/index.asp), mainly because of the 400kbs upstream but also because I want to get rid of the line rental costs (which are additional to the cost of the ADSL service with most ISPs) and because I don't want a 15gb per month traffic cap (I estimate I use 5-25gb).
This is a service available on exchanges that have had Local Loop Unbundling done to them, as mine has. Additionally, I am 332m from the exchange (Exchange information (http://www.samknows.com/broadband/checker2.php?p=btadsl&id=MTM5NTgwLjExMDY1MDM5NzY=)).
Was wondering is anyone had any experience with Bulldog on an LLU exchange (not other Bulldog services), particularly with regard to gaming/latency and the upstream side of things (downstream isn't particularly important so long as it functions).
thx
