Guys I'm Pissed with my Ping

Hey guys........my ping is really *** and it's 300-400 now.....argh!! smilies/mad.gif stupid ISP.....hey is it because of the location of my house? coz my brothers friend has also the same ISP and his ping is like 100-200 !!! damn! I don't want replys about adsl and stuff coz that's never gonna work with my mom hehehe ........see ya guys!!ohh BTW add me to your icq if you haven't ' i'm out '

Hey PsycoDuck! I assume ur using a dial up service, try to dial into another local phone# to see if it is any better, maybe try to reduce your SysTray applets that relates to ur internet. If all else fails, try a different modem but that would be strange.

I'll lay odds that he is loggin on a server node that has a lot of traffic on its network. Like Ghost suggested trty using a different dialup number, I do with aol and it drops my ping from the other nodes.....8)
