FE............

i recently dl'ed FE which was about 111MB smilies/biggrin.gif in about two and a half hours on a 56K smilies/groovy.gif

only to find that when it was finished it isn't a "valid win32 application" ......doesnt this usually mean that it..screwed up and i have to download it again? or will someone save me the pain? smilies/cry.gif smilies/bawling.gif

I have attempted to dl 4 time snow. Dl
'd a grand total of 424 megs so far and guess what not one of my dl's had a working copy of fe....

I care but not sure what to do in both of your cases. I dl it once and installation was successful. It sounds like somehow your files got corrupted during the dl. Until then...

Hey killer choock, you used Star Fleet Platoon? If yes, than you are good boy =). I don't use file planet much because it's gay. And you should use Get Right and don't use file planet, than your BZ 2 FE DL should work =).

seems like its a corrupted download... but i will upload this to bac site.. hope can help out.. use GoZilla (old version preferred) or something like get-right to download it seems to manage better on long files..

I downloaded from starfleet, dutch and last site were all fine.

i think i will post a STICKY for mailing list to ones who had difficulty and i will personally make the cds and mail to them....
