CS- Joining Games

I just bought CS b/c I heard some good things about it, but I can't connect to any games to see for myself... It always said "Server is runing a diff. version" What patches or downloads do I need to join games? Thanx for the help, Deadly1.

check this, if you have retail CS get full upgrade 1.4 retail, if you have the mod then you need the mod upgrade.
