hey guys how u doing i have a small question why when i host a server or game on bz2 no body cant see my game either my dad we both can play by lan but when me or him host a server no body cant see it on the bz2 ney
plz help me

I don't play BZ2, but are you guys host a lan server, or a internet server. If it's lan, no1 will be able to see it. If it's internet, then I dunno.

If you have a proxy or firewall you may want to check you settings. Allow incoming data to ping to your IP.

Yeah i got same problem, me and my bro can play on lan, but when i host game in internet no one joins coz no one sees it.

we are using lan and both computer hace windows xp pro and i dont know how check the firewall thing can some one tell me how plz

i think (know) it is cos u r sucking ur internet connection through a network from ur fathers pc. well at least it was this way when i and a freind lifed together and i got my con trought network from his pc..... nobody could see my games. now i havent it anymore cos i am lifign aloen and everythign ok.

Do you have a router? If you do, chances are it has a built-in firewall. There is a way to let one of your computers ping outside the firewall by letting it enter a DMZ (demiliterized zone). I had the same problem till someone told me how to ping from the DMZ. Now I can host and use bc with no problem as long as I'm in the DMZ. I have a Netgear router. What kind, if any, do you have?
