callin all geeks! lol i got some issues with a gforce 4 ti 4400 it crashes my pc everytime i i play wolf pleaze help thnx

ok....need to know a few things here dude...
How does it crash? (Lock-up) (Blue-screen...etc)
Does it crash with other games or progs?
Do you have the latest drivers?
Is your card set at 4x or 2x?
System Info????

thanx havok, rtcw loads and i can play it for about 5-7min then i get the blue screen of death with either"irq not less or egual" or "address 80431b22 base at 80400000 datestamp 39760637 ntoskrnl.exe" then it says begin dump of physical memory and i have to reset my computer, also insted of the blue screen it just flashes the blue screen then reboots on its own, it also does it with jk2...argh!

my specs:
sis735chipset
win2k pro
384 megs pc133 ram
350 watt power supply
2.8.3.2 driver for gforce4(detonater)
agp4x
creative audigy sound card

i think thats what u need if u got any questions ask me or delusional cause he knows more about it then me, and thanx again for the help

btw, izz the first time i hear reports of seing blue screens on win2k... im working with 2kSE and i never ever saw a blue screen.. =/
hmm, i dunno whats the problam from what u telling here but i am sure it has something to do with Microsoft **** :D or a defective card or some sort of imcoplitebility of your card to your overall system... yes that also happends sometime...

first reinstall the game, if that dont work

well than u should d/l the new drivers and after that install them -->from provvisory mod <----

i have the newest drivers for my card and its the second card weve tried , now my irq settings are a lil screwy and ima try them out 2night but my sound,vid and pci steering are all on the same irq(11) maybe thats it if u got any mo info gimme a holla thanx people-hammer

Sorry to interfere

But it's well known problem about G4 cards.
In fact Nvidia doesn't seems to be able to set up working drivers.
Then, try once more with Latest Detonator Drivers or, if you really want to play, install bundle pack drivers (aka creative ones if you have a Cretive Geforce 4)

I'm already searching beta working drivers for others friends, so i will post here if I found something

I got that problem, I got a GeForce 3 and only 1 set of drivers work and I can't update to the latest ones :(.

thanx guys, oppresser what drivers r u runnin and how did you find em?
all the drivers do the same for me, i think i should either
1-find gates and beat him with large blunt object
2-go to church
3-scrap this mobo and revert to the old one and eat the loss(eww)
4-pull out my hair....nevermind its gone lol
5-wait till someone gets the correction down pat and translates it
into "stupid" for me lol

i had exactly the same problem when i switched to Geforce 4 (3D Blaster )

i went into the provvisory mod of my computer (VGA) connected to internet i reinstalled the drivers and after that i rebooted normally and all goes fixed

i have a nvidea gforce4 ti 4400 made by PNY will the same drivers work with the one from creative? i know im dumb but ignorance is bliss lol

i believe the GEforce 4 TI uses AGP 4X so if ur motherboard is not Intel Chipset, its questionable on how stable your 3d maybe running during intense 3d sessitons. there is a utility to tweak geforce cards allows u to customize different motherboard root chipsets to avoid this problem.

so my question is what kind of chipset do u have?
