Yeah man, me and my bro play it on LAN. It's the only thing he'll ever play because he's only interested in RTS games. He dominates me, but I reckon I'm alright at it...It's not on my comp anymore but it was enjoyable at times! I could never get it working online...the whole MSN gamezone or whatever was too damn complicated.

AOE 2 is cool, but i haven't played it for a year now i think, and are you talknig about Expansion pack aswell? And Teutonic Knights rule!!! Teutons all the way. My fav civilization. I used to play AOE 2 and expansion on internet alot even tried ot make bac devision, didn't work out though, all of my members I recruited just disapired lol. Except 1, he tried to help me later but than left. Probobly should play AOE 2 again http://www.bac-clan.com/forum/images/smilies/ubb_import/happy_biggrin1.gif .

P.S. Do you think those rumors that are going about AOE 3 are true?

I'm down to play anyone in AOE2,Just let me know. The Teutons? Didn't really like those guys. I would use the Huns. Love the good ole Hun Rush. Besides them I use the Spanish or Turks.

hun rush, that's fun too. teutons and byzantines were my fav's. and yes, talking about the Exp. pack. the best way to play online in to use direct connect w/ IP. the zone is horrible! i never liked it. just a bunch of spyware. i think i'm beginning to lose interest in the game, it's fun, but not the kinda game i want to play over and over. like Risk, it's fun, but not when played all the time.

What about the British? At least I think those were the guys who had the Longbowmans...I always get pwned by them, my bro builds em in large groups and I'm gone...:( I tried to use the Goths because their special unit was resistand to arrows but then he just changes race...><

my expert bro was the britans v. me (teutons) and i beat him. the knights are just soo good, slaughter buildings in no time, and they don't cost a lot. kinda slow moving, but resistant to a lot.

I try and use anyone with Paladins. Their good against pretty much anything includin buildings and they move quick. The Teutonic Knights where jsut to slow for my taste, but are good in big groups. Teutonic Knights are the best, especialy if they are Elit, than they have 10 melle defence and 5 arrow defence wish out upgrades. Teutonic knights are very good for defence. I tried it 1 Elite teutonic knight with all upgrades vs 2 paladins with all upgrades, teutonic knight killed 1 paladin and nearly killed 2nd paladin. I actualy find paladins kinda useless especialy when they attack me lol.

I remember when i played 3v3 on zone with my bro, it was 3v3, me, my bro and some noobie who got owned in first 30 mins. I was holding 2 good players, and 3rd sometimes attacked me but he usualy attacked my bro, while one of the guys who attacked me, made little attacks on my bro. Well i was holding out very good, and was even doing little attacks on their buildings near me, they had like 8 castles outside my base lol. I had teutonic knights against everyone, had castles and had bombard towers, pikeman against horses, (they lost so many gold by attacking me with paladins, i had skirmishers and balistas and nice amout of trebuchets. But i got owned after my bro was wasted. Because i had defence only on one side. But they couldn't get through it.

I used to play alot as Turks, because of their Rifleman or whatever they are, but they didn't have upgrades for pikeman and skirmishers and without those guys its hard to play coz they are much better than without upgrades.
