This would be pretty easy to pull off as well, Bungie is anticipating an ENORMOUS gaming community for this, so they loaded it up with teh X-Box Live. With that, we can have our friends list, communication programs, and all that jazz included. I mean, if we can get Halo 2 w/Vent and Xfire (metaphorically), this would be a piece of cake.

Now you can put your tag for games like {bac} for Halo 2 so when you play halo 2 you will have {bac}GamerTag and when you play Rainbowsix3: Black Arrow you'll only have the GamerTag. (Unless you put the tag for RB63:BA too) There's even clan Ranking Boards now.. Xbox: 149.99
Halo2: 50
Xbox Live Starter Kit*: 59.77 (Wal-Mart)
Xbox Live*: 50 / Year
Xbox Mic.*: 20

That's about the prices.. but maybe you will need a router, and ethernet cables..

* Xbox Live Starter Kit: You get a Mic, MechAssault (game) and A free year of XB live, that means if you get the starter kit you won't need to pay Xbox Live/Year neither get a mic.

As Ledd pointed out, we've spoken about the possibilities of having a Halo 2 (Xbox) division. Even before that It was a game that I was considering for a while now. Its Amasing. The game hasn't come out yet, and already more than 1 million copies are sold. Just want to get Xbox Live http://www.bac-clan.com/forum/images/smilies/ubb_import/happy_biggrin1.gif . But i don't know much Xbox Live. But can you use your ADSL, (same one you using for PC) to connect to Xbox live?

My internet connection i have now costs me $65 NZ a month ($1 NZ = $0.65 USD, about that). But probobly NZ has different rules heh. And you guys are toooo far away. But i still can play with high ping.

P.S. Halo 2 had a set a date, i think it was moved once (not sure) and now it was annouced that the game is finished. Doom 3 i never actualy heard of them making dates of game realese, i though they just put Relase date "When its Done" But Halif - Life 2 keeps bsing us about that, they even said that HL 2 would be realesed last year lol.

Halo 2 has been confirmed by multiple sources to be released on Nov. 9. They even got all the posters at the store, and (somehow) that's always a sure sign of a release date.

And XB Live is $50 a year (According to Scars), which works out to about $4.17 US/month, so skip Taco Bell® once a month and that's paid for. Plus the Mic comes with a starter kit, which is only $40 US, and it comes with 3 months paid on it. I think you may have been ripped off Scars::P:

Unfortunately all that would be compounded by your internet connection cost by whatever your provider charges you per month. I'm not sure if you can run XB Live on an ADSL connection. Try visiting the XB website, you will likely find the information there.

Anyways, if you have nothing, it would cost about $240 US to pick up an Xbox, Halo 2, and an Xbox Live starter kit. Pretty good deal, considering I paid $300 for an Xbox that came with just a controller and the cords, no games.

OMG HALO 2!!!! It's Almost Here!!! ....................... Anyways, yes I'll be getting it, and Xbox live. If you buy the XBox live start kit, you get 12 free months of XBox live, plus crimson skies, a headset, and a memory card. All for $69.99.

On monday night the EB games near me is lining up people at 10pm for a release at midnight. I'll have my copy of Halo 2 up and running on the 9th. WOOT!!!

Ok here is my story! monday night 11:50pm I head out to the local EB and I wait 40 minits in line in the freezin cold! then i got my copy of HALO 2 http://www.bac-clan.com/forum/images/smilies/ubb_import/happy_smile1.gif I drove home unpacked the game and started single player rigth away! Played for about 30 minits and realized WOOOOOOOOWWWW this game is sick! Then I went online and realized OMG this game is just no words to describe it http://www.bac-clan.com/forum/images/smilies/ubb_import/happy_wink_kiss1.gif ! So yea my review from what I have seen, a must have for everyone!!! Really the way u can pick up 2 weapons and the way u can use the covenant sword holy just sooo sick!! I think they took everything that might have been said to be lacking in HALO and added it! I personally am very mad a gamespot for giving it a 9.4 raiting! I mean this game is sick 9.8 minimum from what i have seen so far! I love the way u can play online and all the options the multiplayer game has i think it is sick! So let the pwnage begin!

Well, after playing it most of the way through, I can comfortably say that Half-Life 2 will kick the CRAP out of Halo 2. Single player-wise, at least.

I really don't like some of the changes they made though. The field of view is a lot smaller than in the first one, you can hardly see as much, especially when you dual wield. You can hardly see anything close to you. The shotgun looks FLAMING ga¥. The bash animations look like crap compared to the ones from 1. The original vehicles are like driving terds (haven't tried the new ones yet, gotta find them), they're about half the original speed. The jeep is a bit more responsive, but the ghost is about half turning speed and movement speed, and the Scorpion barely moves at all, it's so slow.

But despite all that, I'd still give it a 9.6 overall. It is truly one of the better games of our time, but It really is no better or worse than the original in my opinion. Well. the multiplyer is a bit better, but that's it.

I did go to my friends house and we had 2 XBoxs linked with 5 ppl playing. The multiplayer is pretty damn fun. Although it kinda turned into who ever had the energy sword won.
