We have upgraded our board to UBB version 6.3.1.1. I'm not calling it a complete success until all bugs (if any) are fixed. There are some noticable changes with the layout, but more so with some of the new features:
- News Scroller (Displayed on the Forum Home which should work across all major browsers and OS types.
- On Forum Home look at the bottom just below the Statistics. You will see 2 links. One will have the option of deleting your cookies in case you experience a problem with logins or other cookie related issues. The second at the right is to reset the new posts marker. You can however, always link to the "Todays Active Topics" link at the right of the News Scroller.
- "Quick Forum Search" (Located on the bottom of each forum page where you can easily search topics in that forum)
- "Report Post To Moderators" (Located at the left top corner of each post. If you feel a post is a potential problem click on the link and you can e-mail the forum moderators of the situation. Do it with good intent.)
- If you click on the user's name at the far right of each post you will link to a page of the user's most recent posts.
- Custom Font Colors are enabled. Do us and yourself a favor by adding a font color that is readable.
**WHERE IS MY LOVELY AVATAR? While there are more the biggest news is that until further notice, we will link your avatars for you provided that you have your own hosting service. Please read the Text Scroller on the Forum Home for your intstructions.
